WHAT ARE TWO COMMONLY USED ESSENTIAL OILS?

And why?   Can they be used on the skin and with kids.. How about those with a compromised immune system?

One is very camphorus, (dissolves mucus) the other, OFF THE CHART with d-limonene a powerful antiviral.  Any guesses??
Imagine the aroma of a wet rainforest that is producing a citrus scent.  Mmmmmm, the very thought initiates healing in my body immediately!
Let’s talk about WHAT/WHY these two are such a great pair in ‘November’!
‘d-Limonene’ is a component in both oils. It’s clinically proven to activate white blood cells and is antibacterial as well as antiviral.  Orange and Grapefruit oils contain the highest percentage of this amazing health wizard!  Cold and flu season are up in November, keep these two at bay!
‘Cineole 1,8’ is a component in Eucalyptus globulus, that dissolves mucus, “mucolyctic”. It’s high in camphor. This is outstanding for phlegm build up in the lungs and even joints of the body!  Don’t use it IF an acute asthma attack is happening.  It’s super for prevention of lung issues.

There are THREE types of Eucalyptus we have at Savitur… this is the #1 MOST COMMON Essential oil in the medicinal cabinet! And this is the species.  Globulus, the most camphorous of the three.

Most cold pressed Essential oils are phototoxic.  Sweet Orange is NOT!  That means you can add it to your body creams for a fresh scent and not only will your skin be okay.. You’ll boost immune properties while uplifting your mood, with it’s citrusy aroma.  Kids love it and there are no contraindications for elderly or those on medications.

Here are two easy immune boosting recipes:
